HouseRules privacy policy
Sicarii Development · Effective October 20, 2026
HouseRules doesn't collect, sell or share personal information. It has no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and no permission to use the internet.
Your games stay on your phone
Player names, games, scores and stats are saved on your phone. If Android backup is on, Android may copy them to your own Google account; we never see that copy. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes them.
Linked play
Linked play connects the phones in a game directly to each other, over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, using Google Play services' Nearby Connections. Only game information (player names and moves) passes between those phones.
The app asks for Bluetooth, nearby-devices and location permissions only to find those phones. It never reads or keeps your location. Google Play services may send Google statistics about connection quality, as your phone's Usage & diagnostics setting allows. Google Play services is provided by Google under Google's privacy policy.
Sharing a result
Sharing a result opens Android's share sheet with a short text, and you choose where it goes.
Children
HouseRules is made for all ages. It collects no personal information from anyone, children included.
